last week, my cousin took her 2 little daughters to a halloween competition held at the mall... and baby shrek sasa won!!! poor girl... got no clothes on her body... she was just wearing her little diaper walking around the mall... everyone at the mall wanted to take a picture of her... poor girl... knew nothing about what was going on around her...

whereas... her elder sister adria was just a normal pumpkin princess... but she was upset... because everyone's attention was on sasa...

poor kids...

exhausted...

a super busy day... totally exhausted... non-stop interview with the "bitter god"... everyone of them have a sad story behind... i can understand how it feels if all the $$ disappeared suddenly... these $$ represent their life time hard work...

undercover is one of my favor brand... and i think their 2009 spring collection is really my cup of tea!! i love almost all of them... this time it is an all-white collection, layered sportswear look, romantic dresses with a lot of fine-thread fringing in the mix and some sort of vintage pearl accessories... just that... it is not easy to get their items in hk... only joyce central carry some of them... i think i must visit tokyo early 2009 la!!!

2008 music is live II

some weeks ago (september 30), i got the freebies to watch the 903 music is live show. thanks to ingrid... she knows i'm big fans of jan lamb. the show was great especially jan's part (of course!), this is the first time i see him plays the piano!! however...i don't know why miriam yeung never sings well in live shows... and i don't know why eric kwok is so talented but can't sing...

i'm an accessories lover

i love to collect various kind of accessories from vintage to fun and crazy stuff... cos i believe these accessories will change the look and feel of the total outfit. so i love to play mix and match with them...

yesterday i got the limited edition set of mercibeaucoup brooches and here is the org set that i got earlier... currently they are placed on a 2-sided dress i got last month.


i think this 2-sided dress is very functional. one side look more classic shirt-dress and can wear with some long necklaces. the other side look a bit more young and cute it goes well with the mercibeaucoup brooches!

pop up shopping at "pop up store"...

after the vintage shop... motu went home... sabe and i continued our shopping challenge... don't know why... we ended up at time square (it was almost 9pm when we were there!). and found the I.TXX POP UP STORE... i read about this in magazine earlier, but since i don't want to waste $$... so i didn't bother to read more details about it... but now... we are here... and... today is the last day... and... i wondered why most of my favor brand items were still available... so... i ended up wasted $$ again...

sunday tea with the girls... plus shopping...

haven't catch up with the girls for awhile already... this afternoon, i had a good time with sabe and motu. finally i can give them a full verbal update about myself for the past weeks...

in our conversation... i said i'm not planning to do any shopping today. i don't want to spend a cent on any nonessential items... but we were at cwb, it is hard to not shop at all... but we promised we will try to behave ourselves...

so we started at i.t... then all shops around paterson street... and sabe took us to a little secret shop behind sogo... all safe... very safe, no one got anything from all these shops!!! then we stopped at the apple mall... shopped around... still safe... but not till we saw the little shop "bibelot"... and yes, each one of us dropped $$$ and i'm the one who spent the most!!

we spent almost 2 hours at this little shop... asked all kinds of questions and the shop owners were very nice and shared with us all the little stories about each pieces...

at first... i just got the vintage golden necklace... but when the shop owner took out the vintage clock... omg... i love it... well although like it so much... i think i will skip... but... when i suddenly saw the little gift motu got for me from barcelona in my bag... omg... it matches the clock wor... okay... i give up... and got it...


the paper bag packaging is also very nice... it goes nice with all these vintage items...


gifts from motu matches my new vintage clock... to my surprise... honchi didn't scold me for shopping again... he kind of likes this clock too... he said the clock is nice and worth it arr!! now i feel less guilty...

badminton night

very tired now... cos i played almost 2 hours badminton with garjair & mmjj tonight. because i'm not a very healthy person... always sick... therefore... garjair & mmjj accompany me to do some exercise...very tired arr!!

my best friend elsa...

yesterday was my best best best friend elsa's birthday. tonight we (just the 2 of us) spent the evening together... a quiet night for girls talk... we both think this is the kind of celebration we want...

i'm so glad that i have a friend like elsa besides me for all these years... without her... i will not be able to go through so many ups and downs...

ngong ping 360

it was oct 11 (saturday)... 2 weeks after mom's second eye operation. garjair initiated to visit ngong ping 360 with mom (my mom is a buddhist). it was a fun day for the 3 of us...

on diet!!

you may not notice, but i gained 15lbs after the 2 operations in may and june... just 3 months, i gained 15lbs!! so... average 5lbs per month... average 1lb per week!!!

i know i'm fat!! i hate to see my big tummy growing bigger and bigger when i'm not pregnant!! my pants are getting tight... my arms are getting thick... i hate myself...

i'm so upset and depress now!! i must pick up my diet menu and do more exercise from now on!!!

some weeks ago... i heard the news that alessandra facchinetti left valentino... this is a very sad news... cos she has been with the brand for less than a year and her pieces were all so beautiful... i just don't understand why they have to fired her... i hope she will launch her own brand very soon... cos i love her pieces very much...

just came back from diana's wedding party. it was a fun night...

the only thing that i can "bling" for diana

i just can't find anything in my collection that is "bling" enough to tie with the wedding party theme... it will be an outdoor party, dress code is casual... so hard to think of anything to wear....

i went down to mk saturday afternoon... trying to find some bling bling accessories, maybe hairbands or brooches... but they are just tooo...too..."c lai" and "leung leung"... can find anything i can buy...

so... i decided to make my own bling bling hairband...

hhhaha... not bad wor... i pretty like it wor... heheh..ehhh...

diana (ah-meow)'s wedding card

i received this creative invitation card from my high school friend diana... it will be her big day tomorrow!! i'm so happy for her... to me she is a successful business woman, as she was the first in hk opened the 2nd floor cafe themed on cats, that is 阿貓地攤...

i'm so excited to see her getting married tomorrow...
the party will be held outdoor at po-doy-o pier...
dress code is "bling bling"... hmm... "bing bling"... do i have anything that "blings"?

week of sep 8: i hurt my back during home cleaning
week of sep 15: my mom is back from guam
week of sep 22: mom had her left eye operation
week of sep 29: mom had her right eye operation
week of oct 6: family matters bothering me

week of oct 13: another family matters pop-up and it bothers me

(plus honchi "blocked" my pc usage during this rough stock market environment... as he must be with the "market" most of time wor!!)

although most of time was taking care of my mom and accompany her... i still have a lot that i want to share in my blog and will re-start my posting gar la... so... no more complain about the moon cakes la!
